Wedding Anniversary Decor

This was a really special occasion celebrating 50 years of marriage for two high school sweethearts. Fifty years marks a golden anniversary, so we went with a gold color palette. The couple planned to renew their vows, so we wanted the decor to have the feel of a wedding. To do this we used lots of satin and forals to make it feel more romantic.

My team and I were brought on to design this event right before pandemic hit. Due to social distancing and safey guidelines, the event had to be pushed back a year and scaled down from 300 to 175 guests. During that time we were also struggling with supply chain issues for fabric and linen. Thankfully we were able to pull it off with a strong network of vendors and a robust backstock of inventory.
